Concours de la chanson Alliance Française
When I was 13 years old I won the Concours de la Chanson Alliance Française together with Johan Wiersma (accordeon) and Anton Doornhein (piano).
I performed the beautiful chanson ‘L’arbre d’amour’ from Frida Boccara and ‘La foule’ well known by Edith Piaf.
It was a really fantastic experience because after winning this prize we were invited to give a concert in Paris and had many television appearences.
Ambassador of the French Language
Very proud to be the ambassador of the French Language for ‘La Journée nationale du français aux Pays-Bas’.
Le table ronde pour le Français engages and motivates students to learn French and organises all kinds of cultural activities to promote this beautiful language!
Podium Witteman 2016
As finalists of the Prinses Christina Competiton and winners of the Concours de la Chanson, Johan Wiersma and I were invited to the television programme ‘Podium Witteman’.
I played the second movement of the Marcello Concerto on my oboe and we performed ‘La Foule’ together with great Mike Boddé.
It was a wonderful experience which I enjoyed very much.
